Drake Ferriter recorded back-to-back rounds of 76 to finish the Coca-Cola Lafayette Invitational with 152, good for 22nd overall.  The sophomore, who recorded 22 even holes and three birdies over the 36-hole event, helped the Monmouth University Hawks climb five spots on the team leaderboard en route to a sixth place finish, the highest result of the six total MAAC schools at the tournament.  The second-year Hawk now has 15 rounds in the 70s this season.

Alexandra Sazhin, Quinnipiac

Quinnipiac University freshman Alexandra Sazhin finished tied for fifth out of 59 golfers at the 2017 Seahawk Invitational hosted by Wagner College at Quail Valley Golf Course in Littlestown, Pennsylvania. Sazhin followed Sunday's score of 76 with a 77 for the final round to give her a 153 (+9) for the tournament. Sazhin was third in the field in total holes parred as she was even on 26 of the 36 holes for the tournament. Sazhin’s 153 was a career-best for the first-year Bobcat while her first-day 76 was the second-best round of the season.
