Quinnipiac Women's Tennis Faces No. 6 Texas Tech in 2017 NCAA Tournament

EDISON, NJ – The four-time defending Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women's Tennis Champions, Quinnipiac University, will face #6 Texas Tech in the first round of the 2017 NCAA Women's Tennis Championship.
Quinnipiac went 7-0 in the MAAC and defeated Fairfield and Siena en route to winning the 2017 MAAC Women's Tennis Championship. Jennifer Lu was named 2017 MAAC Men's Tennis Most Outstanding Player.
Head Coach Paula Miller was named 2017 MAAC Women's Tennis Coach of the Year after leading the Bobcats to an undefeated conference record. Quinnipiac swept the All-MAAC First Team awards in singles competition. Sitilia Rencheli took home MAAC Player of the Year honors while her teammate, Layla Rodriguez, was named the 2017 MAAC Rookie of the Year.
