MAAC Partners with SIDEARM Sports on Conference-Wide Deal
EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has partnered with industry leader SIDEARM Sports on a multi-year conference-wide agreement to provide a unified platform to power the conference and its 11 institutions athletic websites. The new
MAACSports.com launched at midnight on Saturday, July 1.
“The MAAC, in its conference-wide partnership with SIDEARM Sports, showcases a brand-new website and video streaming service to promote its institutions, student-athletes, and coaches,” notes MAAC Commissioner Rich Ensor. “The conference, along with its member institutions look forward to working with SIDEARM Sports to provide one unified platform to serve its membership.”
Along with the MAAC, each of its 11 institutions have partnered with SIDEARM Sports.
Canisius College,
Fairfield University, and
Iona College all launched its new websites on July 1.
Monmouth University launched its new website on Thursday, June 15 while
Marist College launched on Friday, June 30. Manhattan College and Rider University will launch its new websites August 1. Saint Peter’s University and Siena College will make the move to SIDEARM Sports following the 2017-18 academic year. These nine institutions join
Niagara University and
Quinnipiac University, who already host their websites on SIDEARM, and will continue to do so under this conference-wide partnership.
Starting today, visitors to MAACSports.com will experience a brand-new, user and mobile-friendly website which provides the latest news, schedules, championship information, video highlights, and live stats, while serving as the central hub for its institutions.
In addition to the new MAACSports.com, the MAAC network,
MAAC.TV, received an upgrade. All live and on-demand video content is available at no cost. In addition to MAAC content, fans are able to watch content from the institutions, creating a true conference network.
The new MAACSports.com and MAAC.TV is fully responsive with any desktop, tablet, and mobile device.
