Offensive Player of the Week
Nadya Gill, Quinnipiac

Quinnipiac junior forward/midfielder Nadya Gill tallied five points (two goals, one assist), including the overtime game-winner, in a 4-3 season-opening win at Holy Cross. Gill scored her first goal in the 75th minute to tie the game at 2-2, she later assisted on the go-ahead goal in the 81st minute of play. The Toronto, Ontario native found the back of the net in the 97th minute to give the Bobcats the overtime victory. The game-winning goal, marked the second multi-goal game in Gill’s career and it was also her ninth career game-winning tally.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Taylor Dorado, Siena

Siena sophomore goalkeeper Taylor Dorado recorded five saves en route to the Saints’ first victory of the season. The 2016 Second Team All-MAAC selection stopped four shots in the second half of play to help preserve Siena’s 3-1 season-opening victory against Lafayette on Sunday afternoon.

Annika Nielsen, Marist

Marist freshman forward Annika Nielsen recorded her first collegiate goal in the Red Foxes’ 3-0 opening win over Delaware State. Nielsen found the back of the net on a cross from sophomore Kerri Bradley in the 31st minute of action.
