Kugler & Urciuoli Named Student-Athletes of the Week

Earlier this month, Thomas Urciuoli teamed with Will Voetsch of Ohio State to win the 85th New Jersey State Golf Association Four-Ball Championship. Urciuoli capped the victory in dramatic fashion as he sank a 40-foot birdie putt to claim the championship at Green Brook Country Club in North Caldwell, N.J. During the tournament, the duo defeated fellow amateurs from Duke University and Princeton University. Urciuoli competed in nine tournaments totaling 21 rounds for the Stags last season, including 13 rounds in the 70s. A rising junior, he is a Dean’s List student and earned MAAC All-Academic honors this past spring as a Finance major with an Economics minor.

Kugler has started 46 of the 53 games she played in for the Griffs. She is a Finanace major and holds a 3.68 GPA. Kugler spent her summer as an intern with Goldman Sach's, a leading global investment securities and investment management firm.
