Barbara Paiva led Saint Peter’s with seven points (three goals, one assist) this past week. The junior recorded a hat-trick and the game-winning goal on Saturday, September 9 at Hampton, en route to a 5-1 win. Paiva also added one assist in the victory, and contributed to four of the tallies on the day.

Amanda Knaub, Monmouth

Amanda Knaub registered two shutouts and surrendered one goal in the Hawks’ (2-0-1) week. Monmouth defeated Seton Hall, 1-0, and Drexel, 2-1, before playing Hofstra to a scoreless draw on the road. Knaub made five saves in the win over Seton Hall and equaled her then career-high with seven stops against the Dragons. She followed that effort up with an eight-save performance to set a new career standard as she recorded her fourth shutout of the year and the 13
th of her career.

Sabrina Locas picked up her second win in goal for Niagara against Fairleigh Dickinson on Friday, September 8. Locas recorded a career-high six saves and allowed only one goal in the Purple Eagles’ 2-1 defeat of the Knights.
