Josephine van der Hoop paced Monmouth’s offense in a weekend that saw the Hawks registered 16 goals and 42 points. The sophomore forward, who finished the weekend with 10 points, registered her first career multi-goal game in Friday’s win over Lehigh before registering a hat trick in Sunday’s 9-0 victory over Brown. The second-year Hawk now has seven goals on the year, matching her total from her rookie season.

Julie Laszlo anchored a defensive unit that did not allow a goal all weekend, while helping the Hawks score 16 goals in victories over Lehigh and Brown. The senior and the defensive unit limited the Mountain Hawks and Bears to just nine shots, with only three reaching cage, while the two teams combined for just eight attacking corners. Laszlo ran her point streak to three games after a three-goal, three-assist weekend, registering 12 points over that span.
