EDISON, NJ – The conference portion of the 2017 MAAC women’s soccer schedule is set to kick-off on Saturday, September 16, with five games on the docket.
Canisius College (5-2) takes on Iona College (1-6-1) at 11:00 a.m. from Mazzella Field in New Rochelle, NY. 2016 MAAC Champions, Monmouth University (3-2-2) travels to Niagara University, NY to face Niagara University (4-2-1) at 11:00 a.m. from Niagara Field. Saint Peter’s University (2-4) plays host to Quinnipiac University (3-4) at 12:00 p.m. from Joseph J. Jaroschak Field in Jersey City, NJ.
Fairfield University (2-4) goes head-to-head with Siena College (4-3) at 1:00 p.m. from Siena Field in Loudonville, NY. The final game of the day features Rider University (0-6) and Marist College (3-4-1) at 7:00 p.m. from Tenney Stadium in Poughkeepsie, NY. Manhattan College (2-4-1) opens the conference slate on a bye.
The
2017 MAAC Women’s Soccer Championship takes places from October 28-November 1 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, FL. All 11 MAAC teams compete in the championship for the chance to be named the 2017 MAAC Women’s Soccer Champion. The semifinals and championship game are slated to air on ESPN3.
