EDISON, NJ – The conference portion of the 2017 MAAC men’s soccer schedule is set to kick-off today, Wednesday, September 27, with 10 teams in action.

Iona College (1-2-2) welcomes Manhattan College (3-4) to New Rochelle, NY for a 2:00 p.m. start from Mazzella Field live on ESPN3. At 4:00 p.m. Siena College (2-3-3) heads to Buffalo, NY to take on Canisius College (6-2) and can be seen on the Golden Griffins Broadcast Network In-state rivals Fairfield University (4-3) and Quinnipiac University (1-5-1) square off in Hamden, CT at 4:00 p.m. and airs on Quinnipiac All-Access.

Monmouth University (3-4-1) heads to Lawrenceville, NJ to face the back-to-back MAAC men’s soccer champions, Rider University (5-2) with kick-off slated for 7:00 p.m. and airs on BroncVision. Marist College (4-4) faces Saint Peter’s University (1-3-2) at 7:00 p.m. in Poughkeepsie, NY on the Red Fox Network.

The 2017 MAAC Men’s Soccer Championship begins on Sunday, November 5 with the third and fourth seeded teams hosting the fifth and sixth seeded teams in first round action. The semifinals take place on Thursday, November 9 at the first and second seeded schools with the championship game held at the highest remaining seed on Sunday, November 12.
