Hailey Bicknell scored two goals in Niagara's three-game week, in which the Purple Eagles went (2-0-1). The sophomore scored the first goal of the game in the 25th minute against Binghamton on Monday, August 28, tapping in her shot from six yards out. Later in the week, Bicknell registered the game-winning goal against Robert Morris on Friday, September 1.

Amanda Knaub made three saves, including a diving effort to keep the game scoreless in the 66th minute, in the Hawks' 1-0 victory over visiting Fairleigh Dickinson on Friday, September 1. The game was Monmouth’s only contest of the week and also was the Hawks’ home opener and first victory of the 2017 season. Monmouth extended its home winning streak to eight games with the win and Knaub earned her 11
th career shutout for the Hawks.

th which was also marked her first collegiate goal. The Mississauga, Ontario native also assisted on the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Oakland on Friday, September 1.
