EDISON, NJ – ESPN has announced that the January 19 matchup between Canisius College (8-7, 2-0 MAAC) and Manhattan College (6-7, 1-0 MAAC) is set to air on ESPNU at 9 p.m. The Jaspers welcome the Golden Griffins to Draddy Gymnasium in Riverdale, NY for their only matchup in the 2017-18 season.

Canisius is led by the duo of Isaiah Reese and Jermaine Crumpton, who rank sixth and seventh in the conference with 16.1 and 15.8 points per game, respectively. Reese recorded the first triple-double (23 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists) in the NCAA this season back on November 18 in the Griffs 104-84 win over Youngstown State. He ranks second in the MAAC with 1.9 assists per game.

Pauly Paulicap is making an impact for the Jaspers in his first season in Riverdale. Paulicap ranks first in the MAAC in field goal percentage (61.4%), blocked shots per game (2.6) and eighth in rebounds per game (6.3). Manhattan is holding opponents to 67.7 points per game, which is second-best in the MAAC.

The MAAC has five Fridays (January 5, 19, 26; February 2 & 23) during the regular season in which any game schedule on that date can be flexed onto ESPNU as the MAAC Wildcard Game.
