Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Georgeanne Zimmerman, Marist
Fr., Merrick, NY/Sanford H. Calhoun
Zimmerman earns her second MAAC Swimmer of the Week award, as she took first place in the 100 and 200-breast against Bryant, with times of 1:06.98 and 2:26.37. She also placed second in the 200-IM with a time of 2:12.58.
Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Ben Schulte, Bryant
Sr., Tumon, Guam/Miami State HS
Bryant senior, Ben Schulte earns his first MAAC Swimmer of the Week award with his performance against Marist this past weekend. He won all four of his races, the 100-breast (57.26), 200-breast (2:07.66), 200-IM (1:57.83), and 400-free relay (1:44.05) where he swam the last leg in 46.91.
Women’s Diver of the Week
Vivian Mroz, Canisius
Jr., Denver, CO/Bronxville
Mroz collects her second-straight MAAC Diver of the Week award and fifth overall with her performance on the board against Gannon University. Mroz scored a 283.60 in the 1-meter dive, marking the second best score in the MAAC this year for the event.
Men’s Diver of the Week
Travis Wright, Canisius
Sr., Derby, NY/Lake Shore
Canisius senior, Travis Wright recorded a score of 411.10 on the 1-meter board, defeating the competition by more than 30 points. This marks Wright’s fourth MAAC Diver of the Week award.
