Men’s Swimmer of the Week:
Justin Carey, Rider
Jr., Landenberg, PA/Avon Grove
Junior Justin Carey had a stellar start to his season in a dual-meet victory versus Seton Hall. Carey won four events and breaking one Coppola Pool records as Rider defeated the Pirates. He opened his season with a win as part of the 200 medley relay, swimming the third leg in 21.79. He set a pool record in the 100 back with a first-place time of 48.96. He is the first swimmer in program history to break 49 seconds on campus in the event. He won the 100 fly with a time of 49.45 and he also won the 200 back with a time of 1:51.15.

Men’s Diver of the Week:
Dillon Walles, Rider
So., The Woodlands, TX/The Woodlands
Sophomore diver Dillon Walles had a strong start to his season last week in a dual-meet with Seton Hall. Walles won the 3M and finished second in the 1M. He started his season by winning the 3M dive with a total score of 306.90. He won the event by over 40 points. In the 1M dive, he landed in second-place with a mark of 277.12.
 
Women’s Swimmer of the Week:
Kylie McMahon, Rider
Fr., Annapolis, MD/St. Mary's
Freshman Kyle McMahon was impressive in her collegiate debut for the Broncs in a dual-meet against Big East foe Seton Hall. She won two individual events and also picked up a second-place finish for Rider. She won the 200 fly by over three seconds with a time of 2:08.07. McMahon also finished first in the 100 fly by over three seconds with an impressive mark of 58.35. She was the only swimmer on the day to break one minute in the event. McMahon also landed in second in the 200 IM with a mark of 2:13.24.
 
Women’s Diver of the Week:
Meg Tomayko, Rider
Jr., Murfreesboro, TN/Siegel
Junior diver Meg Tomayko began her third season with the Broncs with a strong performance in a dual meet against in-state rival Seton Hall last week. She landed in third-place in the 1M with a score of 227.10 Tomayko ended the day with a second-place result in the 3M dive with a total score of 226.80.
