Monmouth's Garden Bachop, Rider's duo of Vandam & Brosious Repeat as Women's Soccer Weekly Award Winners

Offensive Player of the Week
Georgia Garden Bachop, Monmouth

Georgia Garden Bachop continued her strong play on the front line with a two-goal weekend.  The senior notched what proved to be the game-winning goal in the come-from-behind win against Sacred Heart to secure the Hawks at least a share of the MAAC Regular Season title.  With her 13th goal of the year, Garden Bachop has scored in five straight games and seven of the last eight outings.  She now has six game-winning goals on the year.

Defensive Player of the Week
Lena Vandam, Rider
Brasschaat, Belgium

Sophomore goalkeeper Lena Vandam posted a .880 save percentage to go along with a 1.34 goals-against average in the cage in a pair of wins for Rider last week. In a 2-1 overtime MAAC win against Fairfield, Vandam made 13 saves, including seven in the overtime periods. She followed that up with nine saves in a 4-2 victory at Lehigh.

Rookie of the Week
Carly Brosious, Rider
 Drexel Hill, PA /  Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast

Freshman Carly Brosious had a big week for the Broncs, scoring three goals as Rider went 2-0. In a 2-1 overtime win against Fairfield in MAAC play, she scored both of the team's goals. Her game-winning strike in the second overtime period versus the Stags was her conference-leading fifth of the season. Brosious ended the week with a marker in a 4-2 non-conference win at Lehigh.
