Bryant’s Ornelas, Marist’s Aiken and Gervasio, and Rider’s McMahon named MAAC Swimmers and Divers of the Week 10/17/2018 2:00:00 PM Men’s Swimmer of the Week Micah Ornelas, Bryant Gr., San Diego, CA Graduate student Micah Ornelas finished with 27 points on the evening, winning all three of his individual races. He took home wins in the 100 back (51.80), 100 fly (48.92) and the 200 individual medley (1:52.22), as well as part of the meet-opening win in the 200 medley relay (1:33.05). Men’s Diver of the Week Raislan Aiken, Marist Jr., Glen Falls, NY/Glen Falls Raislan Aiken won the 1 meter dive against Canisius by 32 points with a score of 278.85. Aiken also won the 3-meter dives by 11 points with the score of 284.55. Women’s Swimmer of the Week Kylie McMahon, Rider Fr., Annapolis, MD/St. Mary's Freshman Kyle McMahon delivered another impressive performance for the Broncs last weekend in a dual-meet victory against MAAC foe Siena. McMahon opened the meet with a victory as part of the 200 medley relay. She swam the third leg in 26.44 seconds as the Broncs finished at 1:49.33. McMahon also finished first in the 200 fly with a time of 2:08.69. She won the event by nearly three seconds for the second meet in a row. Women’s Diver of the Week Esabelle Gervasio, Marist So., Niskayuna, NY/ Niskayuna Esabelle won both the 1- and 3-meter dives against a strong Canisius squad. She scored 245.62 on the 1-meter and a personal best 269.32 on the 3-meter.
