Men's Soccer Championship Field is Set
EDISON, NJ - The field for the 2018 MAAC Men's Soccer Championship is complete. The three-day championship gets underway on Sunday, November 4 with a pair of first-round contests.

Fairfield University (11-4-2, 8-0-2) won the Regular Season Title for the second-straight season and will be the top seed. The Stags have not lost since September 22 against Saint Joseph’s and will host a semifinal matchup on Thursday, November 8 after receiving a first-round bye.
The No. 2 seed will be Quinnipiac University (10-5-2, 8-1-1). The Bobcats will also receive a first-round bye and host a semifinal matchup on Thursday, November 8. Quinnipiac is 4-0-1 in its last five.
Hosting one first-round matchup is No. 3 seed Marist College (7-5-4, 6-2-2). The Red Foxes, who missed out on postseason play last season, only lost once in October. The other first-round host is No. 4 seed Iona College (10-5-2, 6-3-1). The Gaels closed the regular season winners of five in a row and allowed only one goal over that span.
Rider University (7-9-1, 6-4) is the No. 5 seed in the championship and will travel to Iona on Sunday. The Broncs shutout their final two opponents to secure their spot in the field. Saint Peter's University (8-8-2, 5-4-1) is the No. 6 seed and will visit Marist on Sunday. The Peacocks return to the championship after missing it the last two seasons.
