Madie Gibson, Monmouth

Monmouth redshirt junior Madie Gibson scored in both of Monmouth’s wins this week at Canisius and home against Quinnipiac. She scored the second goal of Monmouth’s 2-0 win against the Griffs and then had a goal and assisted the eventual game-winner in Monmouth’s 4-1 victory over the Bobcats. The Hawks sit alone in first place in the MAAC standings as Gibson now has five goals in 2018 and 24 career goals. She is tied for 13th in Monmouth history with 70 career points.
Defensive Player of the Week
Taylor Dorado, Siena
Jr., Guilderland, NY / Guilderland
Dorado registered a pair of 1-0 shutout victories in goal last week for the Saints. The junior goalkeeper made a total of nine saves over Siena's two wins. On Wednesday, she stopped six shots to help the Saints to their first conference victory of the season, 1-0 on the road at Fairfield. She added three more saves Saturday in recording her second straight clean sheet vs. Iona. Dorado has been phenomenal during conference play, as she has allowed a total of just one goal over 490:26 spanning five matches (including three overtime contests) while registering 39 saves for a 0.18 goals against average and a .975 save percentage.
Rookie of the Week
Faith Preziosi, Iona
Parsippany, NJ / Parsippany
Scored both of Iona's goals this past week in a career-best effort against the Rider Broncs. She collected a career-best two goals on personal-highs of four shots and three shots on goal. Preziosi leads Iona with five goals. Five goals ranks tied for sixth in the MAAC and second among all freshmen.
