Saint Peter's Richardson and Rider's Johnson Collect the Pepsi Zero Women's Basketball Weekly Awards
Player of the Week
Stella Johnson, Rider

Junior guard Stella Johnson stuffed the stat sheet for the Rider women's basketball team in a trio of games last week. Johnson averaged 22.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 2.3 steals and one block per game. while shooting 45.8 percent from the field for the Broncs. She averaged almost 35 minutes per tilt and hit 40.0 percent of her shots from three-point range. She opened the season by pouring in 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting versus Princeton. She also added five rebounds, six assists and two steals versus the Tigers. Johnson followed that up with 23 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals at Vermont. She closed the week with 22 points at Holy Cross.
Rookie of the Week
Briyanah Richardson, Saint Peter's
Fr., New Brunswick, NJ / Matawan Regional
Briyanah Richardson is a freshman, she accumulated 48 points, 7 steals, 12 rebounds and 12 assists this week. She also started in all three games. Richardson led the team in scoring to earn their first win against NJIT in the season opener, scoring 25 points, and 16 points against Boston College. She is shooting .426 percent from the field and .455 from the three. She is now averaging 16 points and 34 minutes.
