Gervasio and Washington Named Pepsi Zero MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week
Esabelle Gervasio
Women’s Diving
Marist College
Sophomore Esabelle Gervasio has already established herself as one of the top divers in Marist history. During her rookie campaign, Gervasio was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie Diver of the Meet and ECAC Diver of the Meet while also becoming the 1-meter champion at both the ECAC and MAAC Championships. Against Rider this season, Gervasio broke the record to the 1-meter dive with a score of 285.90. She has been named MAAC Diver of the Week three times in her career.
Gervasio is currently majoring in Chemistry and was named to the MAAC honor roll last semester. She has made the dean’s list both semesters at Marist.

Monmouth University
Monmouth freshman Valance Washington won two events in Saturday’s victory over Manhattan. Washington took first in the 100-yard freestyle (48.46) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:48.18) to claim the fourth and fifth wins of his rookie season. The Hawks improved to 6-1 on the season with the victory.
