Jordan Jowers Named to the All-ECAC Team

Jowers makes the team for the first time in his career

DANBURY, CT – Saint Peter's men's soccer standout, Jordan Jowers has been announced as a selection to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) 2018 Division I Men's Soccer All-ECAC Team, announced by the ECAC today.
 
Jowers earned a spot on the All-ECAC team at the midfield position. The 5-11 Middlesbrough, England native led the Peacocks this season with three game-winning goals (tied for second in the MAAC), 57 shots (first in the MAAC), 3.17 shots per game (second in the MAAC), and 23 shots on goal. On the league leaderboard, the sophomore ranked tied for fourth in goals tallying seven goals, tied for eighth in the conference with 18 points and tied for ninth in the MAAC in points per game. His best performance came in a 4-0 win against Monmouth when he scored two goals. Jowers' play this season led to him making the All-MAAC First team.
 
Jowers is the first Peacock to earn All-ECAC honors since Luke Fairlamb made the team in 2016.
 
Jowers is one of just two Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) players to be named to the All-ECAC Team along with Manhattan College junior defender, Adrien Awana.
