Michael Shenal
Men’s Swimming and Diving
Canisius College
Senior swimmer Michael Shenal, who holds a 3.86 grade point average as a Chemistry Health Professional major, turned in a solid effort in the men's swimming and diving program's loss to St. Bonaventure on Nov. 10.

The Henrietta, N.Y., native teamed up with fellow senior Sean Carbary, junior Kenyon Winkky and sophomore Lucas Kennedy to win the 200-yard medley relay event. The senior also placed fifth in the 50-yard freestyle race with a mark of 22.15.

Both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams return to action Jan. 19, 2019 when Canisius travels to face long-time rival Niagara in a dual meet. That event, which will be held in Lewiston, N.Y., is set to start at 11 a.m.
