Player of the Week
Alana Gilmer, Marist
Rs-Jr., North Easton, MA/Archbishop Williams
Gilmer exploded in a win against previously unbeaten Northeastern. The redshirt-junior scored a career high 30 points and shot .647 from the field. She was a perfect 5-5 from the line. Gilmer was clutch down the line, going 4-4 from the field and scoring 13 points to preserve the win.
Rookie of the Week
Lucy Thomas, Monmouth
Fr., Ocean, NJ/St. Rose
Thomas registered double-doubles in both games this week. In the win over Navy, she put up 15 points and 10 rebounds, while also making the game-winning free throw with 12 seconds left. Against Loyola on Saturday, she went for 14 points and 11 rebounds. The freshman has three double-doubles in her first 11 career games.
