Gilmer propelled Marist to a 1-1 record last week, beating Elon and taking Duke to the wire. She averaged 26 points and shot .474 from the field and .600 from three. Her 27 points against Elon matched her career high. The junior only turned the ball over once during that game. Gilmer scored 11 points in the first quarter alone against Duke to help Marist take a lead into the third quarter, finishing with 25.

Shyan Mwai was Iona's No. 2 scorer, averaging 8.0 points in two games last week vs. Central Michigan at home and Bucknell on the road. She averaged 2.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, shooting 40% from the field and 50% from beyond the arc in 24.0 minutes per game.
