Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Callan Smith, Monmouth

Callan Smith claimed ECAC Swimmer of the Meet honors as the Monmouth men's swimming team placed second out of 10 teams. Smith won three races and set three new team records in the process as he took first in the 100-yard backstroke (50.28), the 200-yard backstroke (1:49.98) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:32.33). Smith also set a new Monmouth mark in the 200-yard freestyle when he touched the wall in second in 1:40.46. The rookie was part of four relay teams, the winning 400-yard medley relay team (3:26.39) and three second-place relays.

Trevor Hazlewood, Bryant

Hazlewood Qualified for the NCAA Zones in both the 1 meter and the 3 meter. The sophomore posted an impressive score/school record of 317.40 in the 1 meter and totaled a score of 320.70 in the 3 meter which was also a school record.
Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Caylie Cardona, Rider
Fr., Manalapan, NJ/ Manalapan
Freshman Caylie Cardona had a record-setting weekend in the pool for the Broncs at the Bruno Invite hosted by Brown University. She broke a 14-year program record in the 200 breast with a time of 2:22.27. The mark was the second-fastest time in the MAAC in the event this season. She also qualified for the finals in the 100-breast finishing with a time of 1:05.13. That mark is the fastest by a swimmer in the MAAC this year.
Women’s Diver of the Week
Grace Reeves, Marist
So., Lindenhurst, NY/ Lindenhurst
Reeves won the 3-meter with a personal-best score of 248.9 and came in second in the 1-meter with a score of 228.60 at the H2ounds Invitational. For her performance, she was named diver of the meet.
