Samantha Cooper averaged 24.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game in a (1-1) week for Fairfield. The senior scored a career-high 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds en route to the Stags’ 78-68 victory over Iona on Thursday. Cooper then tallied 19 points and 10 rebounds against Manhattan on Saturday. For the week the forward shot 58.1 percent from the field and 81.8 percent from the free-throw line. Cooper has now compiled a total of 12 double-doubles on the season to lead the MAAC.

Danielle Sanderlin concluded the three-game week averaging 11.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per contest. The highlight of her week came on Sunday as she posted a season-high 18 points and 10 rebounds to secure her first career double-double. She also scored 12 points in a loss at Quinnipiac on Friday. The freshman shot nearly 40.0 percent from the field.
