MAAC Announces 2018 Men's Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team
BUFFALO, NY – A total of 85 student-athletes were named to the 2018 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s Swimming All-Academic team. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Iona College placed a league-best 12 student-athletes on the All-Academic team, while Marist College tallied 11 student-athletes. Canisius College and Rider University had 10 student-athletes honored. Manhattan College recorded nine, Niagara University placed eight, and Fairfield had five student-athletes earn recognition. Rounding out the team is Monmouth University, and Saint Peter’s University, who each placed three student-athletes respectively.
