MAAC Announces 2018 Women's Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team
BUFFALO, NY – A total of 77 student-athletes were named to the 2018 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women’s Swimming All-Academic team. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Iona College placed a league-best 16 student-athletes on the All-Academic team, while Siena College placed 12 student-athletes. Rider University and Niagara University added 11 student-athletes to the All-Academic team. Canisius College had seven student-athletes recognized. Marist College placed six student-athletes, while Manhattan College, Monmouth University, and Saint Peter’s University each tallied five student-athletes. Rounding out the team is Fairfield University with four student-athletes.
