Dimencio Vaughn, Rider

Dimencio Vaughn claims his second-straight MAAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week honor. Vaughn averaged 20.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.5 steals per game, while shooting 59.3 percent (16-of-27) from the floor in a (2-0) week for Rider. He scored 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting and added seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals in 30 minutes, as the Broncs defeated Siena on Thursday. He then went on to register 22 points, nine rebounds, and four steals, matching his career-high, while making 9-of-16 from the floor against Canisius, as the Broncs took over sole possession of first place in the MAAC.
Rookie of the Week
Rich Kelly, Quinnipiac

Rich Kelly earns his third MAAC Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week honor this the season. Kelly scored 40 points in Saturday’s double-overtime loss to Fairfield, which marked the most points scored in a single-game in the MAAC this season. He hit the tying three-pointer with 2.1 seconds left in regulation to force overtime and then had 10 points in the two extra sessions. For the week, Kelly averaged 24.5 points per game on 53.3 percent (16-of-30) shooting from the field and 50.0 percent (9-of-18) shooting from three-point range.
