Offensive Player of the Week
Connor Kearnan, Canisius
Sr., Attack, Courtice, Ontario/Saint Joseph's University/St. Stephen’s
Connor Kearnan scored six goals and dished out 11 assists to lead Canisius to road victories over Binghamton and Furman last week. The senior scored four goals and added four assists in the 12-10 victory versus the Bearcats on Tuesday, February 20. He set a career-high with seven assists and matched a personal best with nine points in the 14-13 overtime victory against the Paladins.
Defensive Player of the Week
Michael Zingaro, Manhattan
Sr., Goalkeeper, Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas
Michael Zingaro led Manhattan to a pair of wins in net. Zingaro averaged 13.5 saves per game on the week and compiled a .600 save percentage. He notched 15 saves in the win over Bellarmine and 12 in the victory over Lafayette. Over the course of the two-game span, he did not a yield a fourth quarter goal in each win.
Rookie of the Week
Sean MacKinney, Manhattan
Fr., Attack, Martinsville, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan
Sean MacKinney tallied seven goals, which paced the Jaspers to a pair of victories over Bellarmine and Lafayette. The attack found the back of the net four times in the victory over the Knights, and totaled three ground balls. He began the week with three scores against the Leopards.
