Player of the Week
Jade Sinskul, Marist
So., Catcher, Goleta, CA/Dos Pueblos
Sinskul hit .500 (6-for-12) with a .750 slugging percentage in Marist's five games this past week, including a pair of multi-hit games. The sophomore went 1-for-2 with an RBI against Villanova (Feb. 23) and delivered a pinch-hit single against Arkansas later that day. Sinskul’s first career home run put Marist ahead for good in a 5-3 win over URI—she finished the day 2-for-4. Sinskul then had two singles against Middle Tennessee on Feb. 25.
  
Pitcher Player of the Week
Erika Mackie, Canisius
Sr., Pitcher, Scranton, PA/Holy Cross
Mackie fanned seven batters in 15.1 innings of work for the Golden Griffins last week at the Pirate Invite in Greenville, North Carolina. In the team's 1-0 win over Saint Francis (Feb. 24), the Scranton, Pennsylvania native gave up only one hit to go with three strikeouts. Mackie also allowed no earned runs over six innings in a start against Saint Francis U the day prior.
 
Rookie of the Week
Caroline Baratta, Marist
Fr., Infielder, Gladstone, NJ/ Bernards
Baratta hit .438 (7-for-16) with a .471 on-base percentage and a .688 slugging percentage last week. In her first collegiate game against Villanova (Feb. 23), she reached base safely in all five of her plate appearances, going 4-for-4 with three RBIs, two doubles, and a walk. In Marist's win over Eastern Michigan (Feb. 25), Baratta went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple, and scored a run.
