Brenton Foster
Men's Track and Field
Manhattan College

Manhattan sophomore Brenton Foster recently broke the school's high-jump record with a 2.24-meter jump that currently leads the MAAC and is the fifth-highest in NCAA Division I so far this season. At the 2018 Metropolitan Indoor Championships, Foster took home first in both the high jump and the long jump, continuing his run as one of the country's most-talented track & field athletes. Late last year, he was named one of the MAAC's top weekly performers.

In the classroom, Foster is equally successful. With a finance and economics dual-major, the Australia-native was recently recognized as one of Manhattan's top academic performers at the athletic department's Breakfast for the Stars, which honors student-athletes earning a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Cassandra Gill
Iona College
Women’s Track & Field

Gill led the Maroon & Gold contingent at the Mets Championships this past Friday at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island by claiming first place in the 3,000-meter race with a personal best time of 9:57.84. She was the lone individual in the event to break the 10-minute mark.
