Manhattan's Foster & Monmouth's Capwell Compete at NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships

COLLEGE STATION, TX – Manhattan College sophomore Brenton Foster, and Monmouth University red-shirt senior Dylan Capwell represented the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) at this year’s NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. The Championships took place Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10.
Brenton Foster recorded a mark of 2.15 meters in the high jump, which was tied for 10
th in a field of 16. The Austrailian native was named MAAC Field Performer of the Meet at the 2018 MAAC Indoor Track & Field Championships and earned MAAC Field Performer of the Week on two occasions.
Dylan Capwell competed in the Men’s 800 Meter run placing 14
th with a time of 1:49.05, finishing less than a second off the pace that qualified for the finals. The senior earned Second Team All-American honors for his performance. Capwell took home two MAAC Track Performer of the Week Awards this season.
