Quinnipiac University outscored the University of Miami 33-18 in the fourth quarter to advance to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament with an 86-72 win. The Bobcats used a 20-9 run to start the fourth quarter to take a 75-63 lead after trailing by a point entering the fourth quarter. No. 9 Quinnipiac will play No. 1 Connecticut on Monday night in the second round.

Quinnipiac Notes:
Edel Thornton had seven in the opening quarter and finished with 14 points.
Jen Fay had eight points in the first two quarters and finished with 19 to lead Quinnipiac
Quinnipiac's win when trailing at the half (35-32) was its eighth of the season (8-5).
It is the second straight season that Quinnipiac eliminated Miami from the NCAA Tournament.
Five Bobcats were in double figures; Fay (19 points), Paula Strautmane (15), Carly Fabbri (14), Thornton (14), Aryn McClure (13) and Brittany Martin (11).
McClure finished with 13 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.

Miami Notes:
Emese Hof led the Hurricanes with 10 points in the first half- the only player in double figures over the opening 20 minutes-and finished with 16 points and seven rebounds.
Erykah Davenport led all scorers with 21 points and nine rebounds.
Endia Banks recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
The Hurricanes' season ends at 21-11.
