SECOND-STRAIGHT SEASON
Quinnipiac is one win away from reaching the Sweet 16 for the second time in as many seasons. The Bobcats beat DePaul and Miami last season in Coral Gables, Florida to move to the regional semifinal in Stockton, California.

FIRST-ROUND WIN
Quinnipiac used a 33-point fourth quarter on Saturday to get past No. 8 Miami 86-72. The Bobcats trailed by one heading into the final stanza and then scored 20 of the first 29 points of the quarter to take a double-digit lead. Five Bobcats were in double figures; Fay (19 points), Paula Strautmane (15), Carly Fabbri (14), Thornton (14), Aryn McClure (13) and Brittany Martin (11). McClure finished with 13 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.

UCONN TOPS SFU IN ROUND ONE
UConn topped Saint Francis U--champions of the Northeast Conference--in round one, 140-52. The Huskies scored the most points (140), rebounds (69) and assists (38) in an NCAA Tournament game. The team also had the most points in a quarter (55) and a half (94) in NCAA history.

QUINNIPIAC IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT
The Bobcats improved to 3-3 all-time in the NCAA Tournament by beating the Hurricanes on Saturday afternoon.

28 DOUBLE-Us
For the third time in the last four seasons, Quinnipiac has won 28 games. The Bobcats won 31 games in 2014-15, 25 in 2015-16, 29 in 2016-17, and 28 this season.
