Offensive Player of the Week
Shelby Barkley, VMI
Sr., Center, Riverside, CA/Riverside Poly
Barkley totaled eight goals and 11 drawn exclusions over two matches last weekend. In a 19-11 win over Gannon, the senior logged five goals on five shots to go with a steal and two blocks. Against, (RV) George Washington, Barkley scored three goals on five shot attempts in addition to a steal and drew four exclusions against Gannon and a season-high seven versus George Washington.
Defensive Player of the Week
Jessica Hermosillo, Marist
Sr., Goalie, La Mirada, CA/Rosary
Hermosillo had an outstanding weekend at the LMU Invitational, finishing with 37 saves and three steals in three games. She had 9 saves versus No. 22 Harvard, had 10 saves and one steal versus No. 17 Princeton and a career high 18 saves and one steal against No. 21 San Jose State to send the game into five overtimes.
Rookie of the Week
Sophia Torres, Siena
Fr., Grapevine, TX/Carroll
Torres led the Saints with a seven-point performance on the week. She scored twice and dished out two assists against St. Francis U while scoring one goal and assisting twice against Mercyhurst. Torres had three steals with two coming against the Red Flash and drew one ejection against St. Francis U.
