Red Foxes Sweep MAAC Rowing Weekly Awards
Varsity 8 Boat of the Week

The Marist women's varsity eight picked up two first place finishes this past weekend during the President's Cup and the Cooper Invite. The Red Foxes 1v8 defeated Fairfield and Army West Point in open water to earn a victory on Saturday. The 1v8 then earned a spot in the grand final of the Cooper Invite on Sunday crossing the finish line in first place in a time of 7:06.45 ahead of Bucknell, Delaware, Eastern Michigan, Duquesne, and Villanova. The crew was composed of Isabelle Koch, Selena Mildon, Clodagh Deasy, Sydney Ford, Marie Ryden, Caroline Withers, Abbey Gragg, Elisabeth Kamm, and Kelsi Cottrell.
Second Varsity 8 Boat of the Week
Marist
The Marist Second Varsity Eight also picked up some stellar finishes this past weekend. the 2v8 would win its race at the President's Cup, defeating Fairfield and Army West Point. At the Cooper Invite, Marist 2v8 raced strong start to finish and won their heat in a time of 7:51.42 ahead of Canisius, Villanova, and Eastern Michigan. Their time was third fastest of the morning so it earned them a spot in the grand final. In this race, the women had a gutsy sprint that allowed them to finish second overall in a time of 7:48.52 behind Bucknell and ahead of Canisius, Villanova, Duquesne, and Fordham. This crew was composed of Caitlin Green, Bernadette Winby, Kerriann Ernenwein, Shawna Gilson, Maddy Gragg, Kate Beebe, Elizabeth Colby, Caroline Defrancesco, and Eliza Hartford.
Varsity 4 Boat of the Week
Marist
The Marist Varsity Four competed at the Cooper Invite this past weekend and picked up a a fourth place finish with a time of 8:40.34 behind Villanova, Delaware, and Duquesne, and ahead of MAAC opponent Canisius and Fordham. The Marist Varsity Four consisted of Emma Trammell, Lorraine Delia, Sara Barker, Kaela Brunetti, and Bea Bradford.
