MAAC Announces 2018 Water Polo All-Academic Team

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced today that a total of 45 student-athletes comprise the 2018 MAAC Water Polo All-Academic Team. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
 
Marist College led all schools with 13 student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team. Wagner College followed with 11, while Iona College added six to the team. St. Francis Brooklyn notched five recipients, Villanova University had four, and Virginia Military Institute totaled three. Siena College and La Salle University rounded out the team with two and one student-athletes honored respectively.
