Siena's Cossack and Manhattan's Williams and Chiorazzi Collect MAAC Softball Weekly Honors
Player of the Week
Madysen Cossack, Siena

Cossack hit a robust .625 in going 10-16 at the plate with four doubles, four RBI, and three runs scored over six games last week for the Saints. She posted a .650 on-base percentage and added an .875 slugging percentage while leading Siena to a perfect 4-0 MAAC record. In Tuesday's sweep of Marist, Cossack had a pair of hits in game one and scored the winning run in the bottom of the sixth in game two. On Thursday, Cossack broke the Saints' single-season record for doubles with her 16th and 17th of the season on the road at NEC contender Sacred Heart. She concluded the week by reaching base safely in all six plate appearances in a sweep of Saint Peter's, highlighted by a perfect 4-4 performance at the plate in the nightcap.
Pitcher Player of the Week
Nicole Williams, Manhattan
So., Ansonia, CT/St. Joseph’s
Williams compiled a 0.54 ERA in three appearances, going 3-0 with one shutout. The sophomore struck out 14 in 13.0 innings pitched. Williams let up just one hit against Marist and just six hits total in three games. The Connecticut native let up just one earned run in three games and earned three of the Jaspers' five wins last week.
Rookie of the Week
Daniela Chiorazzi, Manhattan
Fr., Catcher, Stony Point, NY/Stony Point
Chiorazzi went 7-16 with six RBIs over five games—has been a big factor in the Jaspers' five-game win streak—hit a two-run double against Iona to help Manhattan to a 6-3 win. She also hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the first in game two versus Iona to get the Jaspers rolling to a 9-1 win.
