MAAC Announces 2018 Men’s Lacrosse All-Academic Team
WEST LONG BRANCH, NY – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced today that a total 95 of student-athletes comprise the 2018 MAAC Men’s All-Academic Team. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Detroit Mercy led all schools with 21 student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team. Canisius College and Manhattan College each placed 18 student-athletes on the team respectively, Marist College followed with 15 honorees. Quinnipiac University and Siena College both recorded eight student-athletes on the All-Academic Team. Monmouth University rounds out the team with seven recipients.
