Jacksonville Wraps Up Season at 2018 NCAA Rowing Championship

SARASOTA, FL – The 2018 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Rowing Champions, Jacksonville University completed its season at the NCAA Championship on Saturday. It was the Dolphins fifth-straight appearance in the NCAA Rowing Championship.
 
Jacksonville had all three boats compete in the C/D Semifinals, with the Varsity 8+, 2nd Varsity 8+, and Varsity 4+ each finishing in fifth to move on to the D Finals. The Varsity 8+ finished in 7:07.441, the 2nd Varsity 8+ in 7:25.831, and Varsity 4+ in 8:12.518.
 
In the finals, the Varsity 8+ finished fourth crossing the line in 7:02.080, while the 2nd Varsity 8+ finished its D Final in fourth place with a time of 7:19.582. The Varsity 4+ also finished fourth, clocking in at 7:52.499, just one second behind Rhode Island for third place.
