Albany Women’s Golf Wraps-up Play at NCAA Tallahassee Regional

TALLAHASSEE, FL – The 2018 MAAC Women’s Golf Champion, the University at Albany completed three rounds of play at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional earlier today. Albany recorded par 141 times and birdied 17 times over the course of three rounds to finish +88 (952) in 18th overall.
 
Helga Einarsdottir was the Great Danes top finisher as she shot +18 (234) over three rounds to place 86th overall. Einarsdottir’s best round came on day two when she shot three-over-par (75). The 2018 MAAC Most Outstanding Performer and McLeod Trophy recipient, Annie Songeun Lee finished tied for 87th  with a +19 (235).
 
The top six teams from the NCAA Tallahassee Regional advance to the National Championships on May 18-23, at Karsten Creek Golf Club, in Stillwater, OK, hosted by Oklahoma State University. For more information on the NCAA Golf Championships visit, here.
