Paige Buscaglia, Canisius

Sr goalkeeper Paige Buscaglia kicked-off her senior campaign notching two goals against the Red Flash in the first half .Her two goals in the season opener tie her career high that she set on Sept. 30th 2017 against Fairfield. The senior tallied seven shots, five on goal and two goals.

Aytana Muschajew, Fairfield
Fr., Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany Hills
In her first match, rookie goalkeeper
Muschajew made five saves and recorded her first career victory and shutout in Fairfield's 1-0 victory over LIU Brooklyn. Muschajew recorded her second consecutive clean sheet by picking up a career-high nine saves against Hofstra.
Rookie of the Week
Faith Preziosi, Iona
Fr., Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany High School
Preziosi scored the game-winning goal for Iona in its season-opening game against Sacred Heart. She took in a pass from Ciara Guglielmo and guided it softly into new for her first collegiate goal.
