Alex Madden, Fairfield

Madden netted a hat trick in Fairfield's home win against Wagner, helping the Stags to match their best start in program history. It was the first hat trick for a Stag at home since 2003.
Defensive Player of the Week
Amanda Knaub, Monmouth
Jr., Enola, PA / Trinity
Goalkeeper Amanda Knaub posted a 0.34 GAA with nine saves and a shutout, as Monmouth went 2-1-0 in its three games this week. Knaub made five saves at NC State, two against Bucknell and two at Delaware. The Hawks defeated the Blue Hens, Bucknell and fell in double overtime at #20 NC State.
Rookie of the Week
Annie Ibey, Niagara
Fr., Niagara Falls, ON / Saint Michael Catholic High School
Freshman forward Annie Ibey led the Purple Eagles in goals and points to help NU to victories over Cleveland State and Robert Morris. Ibey scored a brace, her first goals in her career, in Niagara’s 2-0 win over Cleveland State on August 23. She scored on her only two shots of the game in 47 minutes of action. Ibey registered her first career assist in Niagara’s overtime win against Robert Morris on August 26. She assisted on Niagara’s second goal of the game, to make it 2-0. She finished the week with two goals, one assist and five points.
