LOUDONVILLE, NY – The NCAA has released the 2017-18 Division I Men's Basketball Attendance Report, and Siena College ranked in the top-100 nationally for the 21
st consecutive season. The Saints stood 94
th out of 351 Division I programs in men's basketball attendance last season, including 10
th in the Northeast.

th in the Northeast this past season – is a testament to the affinity that the Capital Region has for its Saints. Moreover, to achieve these numbers during what was a difficult season, speaks volumes about our fans. Their passion for Siena invigorates us all to do better."
Siena drew an average of 6,134 fans over its 15 regular season home dates at the Times Union Center last season. Including its one MAAC Tournament game, the Saints welcomed a total of 95,490 guests through the Times Union Center turnstiles for an average of 5,968 spectators per game in 2017-18.

th in the Northeast in Division I men's basketball attendance during the 2017-18 season trailed only Penn State, Providence, Rhode Island, Seton Hall, St. John's, Syracuse, Temple, UConn, and National Champion Villanova. The Northeast is comprised of the nine states Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont according to the United States Census Bureau.
The Saints' average attendance last season out-drew power five conference schools such as Boston College, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Stanford, USC, and Washington State, and exceeded the overall Division I national average of 4,807 by more than 1,100 fans.
Siena has drawn a grand total of 2,375,013 fans – an average of 6,525 guests – over 364 dates at the Times Union Center since playing its first home game at the facility during the 1990-91 season. The Saints welcomed their two-millionth fan on Dec. 23, 2014 against Cornell, and have drawn crowds in excess of 10,000 on 33 occasions. Siena boasts a 240-124 (.659) all-time record at the Times Union Center, including a 225-102 (.688) mark since making the full-time move to the facility in 1997-98.
