Vaughn Dalzell Named MAAC Assistant Director of New Media for Communications
EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced today, that Commissioner Rich Ensor has named Vaughn Dalzell the Assistant Director of New Media for Communications.
Dalzell will serve as the main contact for women’s basketball, women’s, lacrosse, women’s soccer, field hockey and softball. He will assist the Director of Communications/New Media and oversee the All-Academic Teams, MAAC Honor Roll, and Student-Athlete of the Week.
Dalzell joins the staff after serving as the Strategic Communications Intern for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) during the 2017-18 academic year. During his time with the PSAC, Dalzell focused on working with Stretch Internet for the PSAC’s first Digital Streaming Network while assisting the Director of Communications with all sports and championships.
Over the course of his career, Dalzell worked the NCAA Men’s Basketball First & Second Round in Pittsburgh, PA (2018), the NCAA DII Women’s Lacrosse Championship in Bloomsburg, PA (2017), and was the first male to receive the NCAA DII Ethnic Minority and Women’s Grant (2017).
The Jeannette, PA native earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications Media in 2016 and his Master’s degree in Sport Science/Sport Management in 2017 both from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
