Fairfield's Profita, Rider's Vandam, and Bryant's Jaarsma Named MAAC Field Hockey Weekly Award Winners
Offensive Player of the Week
Danielle Profita, Fairfield

Profita tallied 8 points in two games this week with the game winning goal against Hofstra on Wednesday and two goals and two assists against Lehigh on Sunday. The Stags went 3-0 this week.
Defensive Player of the Week
Lena Vandam, Rider
So., Brasschaat, Belgium
Vandam posted a pair of shutouts as the Broncs went 2-0 last week. Vandam stopped all 10 shots she faced. She opened the week with four saves in a 2-0 road victory at Towson. Vandam followed that up with a season-high six saves in a 3-0 victory against Saint Francis (Pa.). The clean sheet against the Red Flash marked her third shutout of the fall.
Rookie of the Week
Marijn Jaarsma, Bryant
Fr., Uithoorn, Netherlands / Alkwin Kollege
Jaarsma played all 140 minutes in the cage this weekend for the Bulldogs. On Friday, Jaarsma faced 23 shots, 14 on goal, against No. 25 Albany and saved 12 of them in the 2-0 loss. On Sunday, Jaarsma posted her second career shutout over Colgate as she tallied four saves. Jaarsma collects this award for the second time.
