Evans Kibet, Siena

Evans Kibet ran one of the fastest 8K times of his career as he finished seventh in the field of 228 runners with a time of 25:12.06 at the National Catholic Invitational held at Notre Dame. That would be 39.1 seconds off the top finishing time of the race and setting the 11th fastest time in program history. With that time, the Siena men's team finished third among 11 teams at the meet, topping programs such as Creighton, DePaul, and St. Mary's (CA).
Women’s Runner of the Week
Siobhan Quinn, Canisius
Rochester, NY, Rush-Henrietta
Siobhan Quinn continued her strong start to the 2018 season, placing sixth overall at the National Catholic Championships with a time of 17:43.68 and pace of 5:42.3. The Griffs placed fifth in the event. The senior finished behind four runners from nationally-ranked Notre Dame and one runner from regionally-ranked Dayton.
