Logan and Laws Named Pepsi MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week

Senior Savannah Logan continued her strong play for the Broncs last week as Rider began MAAC play by going 1-1. Logan averaged 3.5 kills and 2.88 digs per set. She totaled 28 kills, 23 digs, five service aces and accounted for 35 points. In a three-set win against Quinnipiac, Logan recorded 13 kills thanks to a .303 hitting percentage to go along with seven digs. She followed that up with 15 kills and 16 digs in a five-set match versus reigning MAAC Champion Fairfield. The double-double against the Stags was her fourth of the fall.

Dominic Laws has started every game this season for the Peacocks at forward. He leads the Peacocks in shots on goal and game-winning goals this season, while ranking second on the team in points, goals, assists, and shot percentage. Laws also ranks top five on the squad in minutes played, shots, and shots on goal percentage.

Academically, Laws boasts a 3.6 grade point average, which is one of the highest GPAs on his team, while majoring in business management.
