Quinnipiac's Myszewski and Monmouth's duo of Gibson & Moore earn MAAC Women's Soccer Weekly Honors

Offensive Player of the Week
Madie Gibson, Monmouth

Redshirt junior forward Madie Gibson registered a season-high five points with two goals and an assist in Monmouth’s 9-0 victory over Saint Peter’s. Gibson scored the first two goals of the game, the first on a header in the 14th minute and then tapped in a finish less than five minutes later. Gibson’s game-winning goal was the eighth of her career and she now has 22 goals, 21 assists and 65 points in her career. Her 65 career points are tied for 16th in Monmouth history with Mary Wilks '11 and Jeannette Goepfert '92. Gibson has scored against Saint Peter's in each of the three meetings during her career and has four goals in three career games against the Peacocks.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Olivia Myszewski, Quinnipiac
Elm Grove, WI / Divine Savior Holy Angels
Myszewski earned her second consecutive clean sheet and extended her individual shutout streak to 215:55. The clean sheet is the 11th of her career, good for sixth all-time in Quinnipiac history.
 
Rookie of the Week
A’Liah Moore, Monmouth
Manchester, NJ / Manchester Township
Freshman forward A’Liah Moore registered her first-career points in Monmouth’s rout of Saint Peter’s. The rookie totaled five points on the strength of two goals and an assist in 44 minutes off the bench for Monmouth. Moore scored her first-career goal on a bicycle kick on a bouncing ball in the box in the 41st minute and then added her second goal in the 86th minute on a left-footed blast from outside the penalty area to run the final score to 9-0. Moore also assisted Esther Wellman’s second half goal.
