Herd and Malko Named Pepsi Zero MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week

Herd scored 34 points on 60% shooting and 8-13 from long distance in two wins over Marist and Monmouth. She has been impressive in MAAC play as she has had over 16 points in three of her last four games.

Senior Russell Malko continued his strong start to the indoor track season last week for the Broncs at the St. Thomas Aquinas College Spartan Invitational last week. In the one-day event contested at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex, Malko finished second overall in the 400 with an IC4A-qualifying time of 48.70. His time in the 400 was the third-fastest by a MAAC student-athlete this season. He also owns the top time in the MAAC in the 500 (1:04.41) this year as well.
